Spell Rell

Christopher Spellen Aka “Spell Rell” is an Artist/ Musician born and raised in New haven CT. He first fell in love with music at a young age through his father, who was also On Air DJ on WRBB in Boston. As a popular radio DJ his father introduced him to all forms of music even putting Spell in violin and piano lessons early on. Spell grew up listening to all genres, some of his earliest influences include Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and even Green Day but it was Notorious B.I.G and his Ready to Die Album that really gave Spell his love for Hip Hop Music. He went from rapping in cyphers inside lunchrooms to winning Rap Battles in Germany. Now in Guam, Spell Rell teamed up with New Waves Studios and launched his career with his first single “Sugar Honey Ice Tea” back in 2020. Creating a buzz wherever he goes while hosting various events including concerts and now a member of the SMG Power 98 Family.
