New Music Weekends set to return

(Barrigada, GU) Power 98 is pleased to announce the return of a beloved weekend element, New Music Weekends.

Beginning January, the weekend playlist will be infused with the newest and best music from all the top artists in music today.

“We are really excited about this,” said head of programming Kyle Mandapat.  “As we get to talking to people, we are going to be doing a lot of programming around their wants.  We are a station of the people.”

According to Mandapat, new music will be added every Friday and then play heavily through the weekend as options for listeners increase on Guam.

“There is a lot of specialty music shows on radio during the weekend, but it seems like the new music has been put on the back burner,” added Mandapat.  “We are bringing the music into the fold and you are going to hear the good stuff here before anywhere else.”
