Kyle Says: Things that you have to remember if you are thinking about getting back into society in some form.

Hafa Adai and whats up to my peep squad!  It has been a while, but welcome back!  It has been a hell of a past couple weeks on our beautiful island, that’s for sure, but the good news is things are starting to kind of feel a bit more “normal.”   However, just like your first attempt at eating an entire cake, you have to remember that when getting back into the swing of things you have ease your way in.  Don’t go crazy and cram it all in at once.  There are probably things you forgot about being out and about.

With that in mind, this is KYLE SAYS: Things that you have to remember if you are thinking about getting back into society in some form.

Shower Yourself
First thing is first – SHOWER.  I know some people have not left their couch for the past couple weeks, and I am ok with that.  What I am not ok with, is you still sticking to the same “maybe tomorrow” shower schedule.  If you are going outside, no matter how much “social distancing” you plan on doing, I don’t want to smell you.  Even worse, if people can smell you through the mask. 

Put On Some Pants
The next thing you have to remember about getting back out there… people are dressing up.  I am not talking about wearing church clothes, I am talking about wearing clothes.  The 5K shirt and short cutoff shorts (if even that) are probably not allowed, especially if you are getting back to work.  Make sure you are wearing pants.  I learned that lesson the hard way.

Tame Your Inner Care Bear
Finally, I know when you are released back into the wild, instinctively you are going to be so happy to have someone to talk to besides your goldfish and mirror, but you have to control yourself!  You have got to tame your inner care bear and refrain from HUGGING EVERYONE!  The virus is still out there, and in some places hugging someone is considered assault.  Don’t do it.  Talk nicely from a socially distanced space and all should be good.  Especially if you didn’t shower and aren’t wearing pants as suggested above…
