AMC AND TRIPLE J LAUNCH MOBILE VACCINATION & TESTING EFFORT
The formal handover presentation of the Ford Transit Wagon XL, donated by Triple J, took place on Tuesday afternoon, March 16th, at Triple J’s main headquarters in Upper Tumon. The van will bring the AMC medical team into the community and deliver the vaccine and testing to those homebound and most vulnerable in our communities as part of their mobile and vaccination testing effort. Present for the handover were AMC staff and representatives along with Dr. Hoa Nguyen (center) and the executive team of Triple J, (standing center left to right) Jeff Jones, President and COO; Dr. Nguyen, Robert Jones, Chairman and CEO, Jay Jones, Senior Vice President and Dan Murrell, Senior Vice President.
Tuesday, March 16, 2021 (Tamuning, Guam) – American Medical Center (AMC), in partnership with Triple J Enterprises, Inc. announced the launch of a mobile AMC Community Outreach testing and vaccination clinic to reach the community’s most vulnerable populations who are unable to leave home to get a COVID test or vaccination.
The Ford Transit Wagon XL, donated by Triple J, will bring the AMC medical team into the community and deliver the vaccine and testing to those homebound and most vulnerable in our communities. “It is imperative for us to prioritize those most vulnerable, such as our elderly and disabled, those who are unable to leave their homes,” said Dr. Hoa Nguyen, “It’s an effort to create more access and give more people the chance to get tested and vaccinated.”
AMC is working closely with each village Mayor on scheduling of outreach efforts to prioritize patients most in need.
